Lake Erie Fishing Report --Week of May 5th, 2015
Week of May 5th, 2015 - The bad news first...the trolling bite is still fairly slow on the western basin of #Lake_Erie....the goods news.... there are always fish biting on Erie and big fish are still being caught all around the islands. We are in need of a long warming, stable weather pattern to really boost the trolling bite. There are fisherman still taking fish jigging, trolling cranks and/or spinner rigs, casting spinner rigs, and even spoons.. The spoon bite will continue to only improve as we warm up. Also, got a great report of a big fish shallow water "crankbait bite" down by the huron / vermillion area.
